My deep, dark tan...

Well, actually, being of Irish and English decent, "tan" isn't in my vocabulary. But if you're talking about a splotchy burn- I'm your girl! :) I decided to spend my Sunday at the beach. It was too chilly to actually lay out, so I sat and read a magazine. An hour nap later, I had an awesome burn on my chest. It didn't stop there. I have a couple red spots on my hands and the tops of my feet. Super!
Ok, about today's outfit...one thing I do when I'm trying to figure out what to wear is to try to see how I can layer pieces together. I like to look at the necklines of my tops to see what looks interesting and what I could pair it with. I bought this ruffled top from H&M during Christmas time. I wore it with a black jacket at the time. I really like the ruffles, so I decided to look through my other tops to see if I had something with a wide neck that I could maybe wear over it. I've worn this purple top before (Seen here.) I threw the two tops together and loved it. :) The rest was pretty easy. Hope you like it!

 

 

I thought the purple top was gifted to me by Jenny but she has since told me that she did no such thing. Haha...so I have no idea where I got this top. If I had to guess, I would say possibly Nordstrom Rack back in 2005 when I used to frequent that store on an almost daily basis.

Notice the tops of my feet? What a pretty, red glow.
