Adventures in Thrifting

I finally uploaded some pictures from my awesome weekend with Shana and Edwina. There are many more to come, but today I decided to feature our day of thrifting!

I knew a lot of picture taking was to be had, so I put together a "30 for 30" outfit. I transformed my Hawaiian print maxi dress into a long skirt and fastened it with a belt. And after much coaxing, I was talked into wearing my hair up. Get a good look. This may be the last time you see it like this because I'm not sold. I'm calling this outfit Day 12 even though I wore it last Saturday.

Ok, that's enough of my outfit. On to the thrifting pictures!

First stop was the Orange Lutheran Thrift Store. 

We fell in love immediately. 

 

Then it was onto Goodwill!

Yes, I'm wearing my thrifted glasses and yes, they are missing lenses.

 

 All in all, it was a successful day. We found some amazing pieces and we found some RIDICULOUS pieces. It was SO much fun and

I can't wait to do it again!
